The Walker kitchen project in Hilton, Derbyshire, aimed to transform an existing kitchen into a vibrant open-plan space, perfect for family life. The client sought to create a modern, functional kitchen that would seamlessly integrate with their living area, providing a welcoming environment for daily use and family gatherings.

We selected the Remo range for this project, using a combination of Matt Silver Grey and Hartforth Blue doors and panels, complemented by Lancaster Oak carcasses. This colour scheme creates a striking yet harmonious look, blending contemporary tones with a classic oak finish. The bold contrast between the Matt Silver Grey and Hartforth Blue adds depth and character to the space.

The worktops are 30mm Quartz in Silestone White Arabesque, chosen for their elegance and durability. The subtle veining of the Quartz adds a touch of sophistication, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the kitchen. The appliances include NEFF N90 models. A Stainless Steel Square Fusion Quooker tap and Reginox sink were installed for their sleek design and functionality. Additionally, Kessebohmer pullout wirework maximises storage efficiency, making the kitchen more practical and user-friendly.

This kitchen features Karndean KP99 Limewashed Oak flooring, providing a durable and stylish base that complements the colour scheme. The project also included significant building work, such as installing aluminium bifolds and underfloor heating, to fully embrace open-plan living. These additions enhance the comfort and usability of the space, making it ideal for family life and entertaining.
